I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 5 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient services. I received holistic training and earned my Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters at Lesley University, Cambridge. I provide client-centered, individual therapy, a humanistic approach. Students and clients may be in need of support to address the following: decrease stress and anxiety, increase access to self-expression, learn self-regulation skills, improve sleep, learn boundary-setting skills, or address difficulties with functioning in any life domain. I work to facilitate self-exploration, integration, and healing of the emotions and the mind, which affect the body and energy levels. My practice is via telehealth.

I have been a practicing psychologist for the past 23 years. I have a warm and informal style which I believe serves my clients well. I use techniques that best fit the needs of my clients. I have an active, directive approach in my clinical work. I do not hesitate to give direct feedback and advice to my clients, and will give homework to clients when necessary. At the start of therapy, I prefer to see clients weekly or once every other week in order to establish continuity in the therapy. I have experience providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and elderly clients. I specialize in cognitive and cognitive-behavioral techniques for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and childhood and adult ADD/ADHD. I also employ an Associate Clinician who works with me on a part-time basis. My broad range of experience and skills will help you to move forward to reach your goals with the issues that bring you to therapy. I have had many successes treating children, adolescents and adults, and look forward to working with you.

My practice is based in Lexington, MA, where I provide both in-person and virtual treatment. I specialize in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, typically meeting more frequently to support deeper work. Therapy begins by reflecting on your experiences, with an effort to understand them rather than judge them. I take a compassionate approach to exploring your problems, your desire for change, and your difficulties in making changes. Through better understanding your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships, it may become possible to make more informed and meaningful choices. I am collaborative and flexible in my approach, looking for ways to work well together. I provide brief consultations for those seeking help thinking through specific challenges, gaining a professional perspective, or developing strategies for change. When people are struggling in their attempts to do things differently, I aim to help figure out what is getting in their way, a process that can take time but often leads to greater clarity. A therapeutic relationship with someone you trust can be an important path toward self-understanding and emotional relief. Because therapy is a deeply personal experience, it's important to find a therapist you feel comfortable working with. I welcome you to contact me if you're curious to see if this might be a good fit.

I am a neurodivergent affirming Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider. For almost two decades, I have been working with and supporting neurodivergent teens, adults, and their parents through life’s transitions. I work with my clients to understand their experience, areas they would like to focus on, and collaborate to address these issues with an approach that’s every bit as unique as they are. I have worked extensively with autistic clients and individuals diagnosed with ADHD, focusing on topics related to anxiety, depression, sexuality, self-esteem, life transitions, workplace conflict, relationships, parenting, social skills, and executive functioning. With a judgment-free, strengths-based approach, I seek to foster happiness and confidence, supporting each person as an individual finding their own path. I believe that differently wired minds are what create progress, innovation, and enrich our world.

Hello! Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or have been in therapy before, I welcome you here. I would also like to recognize your courage and self-awareness for seeking help. College is a unique time in that lots of changes are happening. Perhaps you are feeling depressed, anxious, stressed, or unsure how to proceed; maybe you’re experiencing big transitions in school, relationships, or your sense of self in the world. In my practice, I use a mixture of talk psychotherapy and expressive therapies to help you address these big changes, to know and release emotions in a variety of ways so that you are able to effectively cope when things get hard. We may utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy to help address and change negative thoughts that are holding you back, and trauma-informed practices to help heal emotional wounds. I use a person-centered, strengths-based approach to counseling so that you feel empowered, confident, and fully supported in our therapeutic work together. I became a therapist because I don’t ever want people to feel they need to weather the storm alone. You deserve care, compassion, validation, and encouragement to keep going. Thank you for considering me a trusted ally in your journey to greater well-being.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, offering individual psychotherapy to adults who may find themselves stuck, dissatisfied, or overwhelmed. I view therapy as a collaborative and active process, with the aims of better understanding one's distress and interpersonal difficulties, and improving one's quality of life. I am committed to helping my clients live more meaningful and authentic lives. I am skilled in the use of empirically supported treatments for psychological problems and I employ these strategies flexibly, with the goal of tailoring each client's treatment to his/her/their individual concerns and unique history. I received my Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I completed my clinical training at the Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. I've also completed two post-graduate fellowships in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I consider myself a generalist, with particular expertise in young adult mental health. In addition to my private practice, I am a faculty member in the clinical psychology doctoral program at William James College. I served as the Clinical Training Director at the MIT Student Counseling Service for over a decade, and I also have supervised psychiatry residents through the Harvard Medical School Longwood Psychiatry Program. In my private practice, I work with high school, college, and graduate/professional students. I enjoy working with high-achieving students of all genders, racial/ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am also pleased to see those those who strive to achieve but are facing barriers to academic or personal success. This includes students who are on leave from college for medical, personal, or financial reasons. Because I also consult to schools and colleges, I am very effective at helping students and families navigate educational institutions.
