I believe that everyone deserves the chance to flourish in life. Life throws us curveballs, often causing us to lose sight of who we are and what we need to feel worthy and successful. My main priority with clients is to create a safe space, free from judgment and criticism. I utilize a multitude of counseling theories in my work, but always practice from a client-centered foundation, in which I work to empower my clients to take an active role in their treatment. I believe there is value in collaboration, and I want to work together to navigate through the challenges that come up. Growing up as a competitive athlete, I experienced firsthand the impact that academic and athletic pressures can have on the body and mind. I played Division I soccer at the collegiate level, and therefore, have a speciality of working with athletes. I use my personal experiences with mental health to connect authentically with clients.
Since you’re here, you probably have questions that you are looking to answer, need guidance and support around your struggles and concerns, desire a safe space for exploration and development, or maybe a combination of these. So, how can I help? I am equipped to conduct psychological assessment to promote improved self-understanding and to help build a plan for support across life. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and focuses on the whole person. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach for those who wish to incorporate faith and spirituality into their individual process. Whether you come seeking an evaluation or therapeutic support, I look forward to connecting with you! *Please note: Fees vary depending on therapy vs assessment. I also work between two offices. Traditional talk therapy isn't always enough to resolve deeply rooted trauma. At The Willow Space, we utilize powerful, experiential modalities designed to process traumatic memories and foster lasting healing. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): A highly effective, structured therapy recognized for helping individuals process distressing memories and beliefs associated with trauma. Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed EMDR: An integrative approach combining the strengths of EMDR with the compassionate, non-pathologizing framework of IFS to work with different parts of the self affected by trauma. Our therapists are committed to providing holistic, results-driven care tailored to your unique needs, creating the space necessary for profound healing.
There’s a lot of things for you to worry about, but I hope therapy doesn’t have to be one of them. I want to offer a space where you can work through anxiety and worries in real time with a real person who listens, understands, and helps you sort through the noise. I’m not going to sit there and hand you advice you didn’t ask for. We’ll figure things out together. What’s behind the anxiety, how is it messing with your life, and what might actually help? The goal isn’t perfection. It’s feeling a little more in control, a little more like yourself. Life’s too short to feel stuck in your own head all the time. I want to help you get out into the world. To help you connect with people who actually make you feel good and to give you a chance to discover what is really important to you. With extensive experience working with people in their 20s and 30s, as well as those in the LGBTQ+ community, I’m here to support you through whatever life throws your way. Feel free to give me a call or email to discuss a consultation/scheduling. Or visit my website to learn more about what I have to offer.
"Why now?" is a question I often ask at the beginning of therapy. Some people come in the aftermath of a personal or relationship crisis, some seek relief for old pain, others simply feel certain that its time for a change. My work is well-suited for people experiencing anger, grief, compassion fatigue, trauma reactivity, anxiety, depression, patterns of conflict and concerns of purpose and identity. I'm not overwhelmed by strong feelings or complex struggles. Whatever reason you may have to begin therapy, we'll work together to find the heart of the matter and what might help. My process is insight-oriented and collaborative but I'll tell you what I think. Clients have appreciated my warmth, directness and cultural competency. Some have stayed with me for years or returned after long breaks. I've had success connecting with adolescents and people who feel ambivalent about therapy. I'm deeply curious about how each of my clients experiences the world and I'll be glad to meet you. Reach out, and we can see if we might work well together.

I often work with students who feel weighed down by stress, perfectionism, or the pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is to give you a supportive space to sort through those challenges, build healthier coping skills, and feel more confident in both school and life.
Hi! Thank you for stopping by. If you are in the middle of big life transitions—figuring out who you are, what you want, and how you relate to the people around you- we might be a good fit. College can bring up questions about identity, relationships, and belonging, along with the stress of academics and life changes. Some students feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves, while others want support navigating dating, friendships, family expectations, or exploring different parts of their identity. The students who tend to connect most with my practice are open to reflecting on their experiences, building self-understanding, and developing healthier, more authentic ways of relating to themselves and others. I love to bring in mindfulness and somatic practices into the therapeutic process and so if this sounds like you- definitely reach out! I also do accept some insurances and so feel free to email me with any questions. I cant wait to hear from you!
